Admissions and Lottery Information
Thank you for your interest in Orlando Science Schools.
Orlando Science is a STEM focused K-12 Public Charter School in Orange County. Orlando Science is accepting applications for Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our online application is available on our website. Although our lottery has taken place, we would like to encourage you to continue to apply. When spots become available, we contact parents who have completed our online application. The application will place you on our waiting list. We monitor our waiting list diligently as part of our ongoing commitment to help as many families as possible. There are still opportunities to enroll and completing our online application is the first step.
Parents will receive a confirmation email upon successful completion of the online application. Please read the confirmation email, it will ask you to verify your information.

Please note a new application must be completed for each new school year during the enrollment window so that we have up to date information. We are here to serve our community by providing a quality, well rounded STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focused education

OSS is located at 2427 Lynx Ln Orlando FL 32804. Regular school hours are 7:55 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligible applicants must meet three criteria including all of the following:
1) The student and their custodial parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must currently reside within the Orange County Public Schools' attendance zone (anywhere in Orange County).
2) The student must be currently enrolled in a recognized 8th grade curriculum and complete all promotion requirements to ninth grade status by the end of spring semester, 2018.
OSS accepts all qualified, eligible students are chosen by random lottery. The lottery date and times will be announced. Although there is no requirement for parents to attend the lottery drawing, the drawing is open to the public. Prior to the lottery drawing, all qualified, eligible applicants will receive notification of his or her assigned lottery number. All lottery numbers will be drawn and posted in the order drawn. Students with numbers in the available spots will be notified via email at the email address entered on the application form. The remaining numbers will comprise the waiting list in the order drawn.
